MJK Homes, Inc. offers two main services for construction. We can build your project
from plans that are developed by your architect or we can create the entire construction
team for you. In the latter scenario, we introduce you to a select group of architects,
designers, and other critical consultants and assemble a team, selected by you,
to coordinate the design of your custom home. We refer to this type of planning
as a "Parallel Approach."
Parallel Approach is the ideal in construction. As the design of the building is
being realized, all of the key personnel are brought into the process to review
their area of expertise individually. This way everyone is sure their part has been
conceived properly, and works in harmony with the other relative elements of the
house. This ensures proper layout of items such as equipment, framing, and furniture
and allows the systems of the house (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.) to
complement the design.
The Parallel Approach also reduces costs due to change orders for items that were
not included in the original scope of work, and solidifies the schedule as a result
of the detailed preparation.
Furthermore, it gives us the opportunity to introduce
methods that will insure a healthier home with more effective systems, enduring
materials, and quality construction.
The end result is a low maintenance home that
performs at a very high level and gives you peace of mind that you live in a comfortable
and safe environment.
